About this caliber:
This is a wildcat that is made to shoot fast and accurate. Factory ammo is not available. You either have to be an experienced hand loader or purchase custom ammunition. Superior Ammunition out of South Carolina has provided excellent ammo for this cartridge. Mr Lonnie is a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to do business with. I myself have only personally shot the Berger 95 grain classic hunters. Speed out of a 24 inch barrel have typically been 3770-3820 with this combo and H1000. We have killed around a dozen animals with this cartridge in 2024, this includes some whitetail, a speed goat at 960 yards that dropped instantly, and some pigs. the caliber had been amazing to play with, Accuracy has been phenomenal, and terminal ballistics have been amazing as well. I feel this is the ultimate whitetail round for 500 and in shooting. Low recoil, high accuracy, laser like drop, and dramatic instant kills make it a winner.
